Rice is currently an award-winning free-lance graphic designer for advertising agencies and corporate clients in the Chicago area. But 'fine art' is a deep and abiding passion.

Pam feels strongly about what her art should be. "Painting should not be photography. I like to see the irregularities and the brush strokes, and feel the texture."

She likes to stay loose and capture the image without getting too literal. She also gravitates toward artists who can master the intricacies of light and shadow.
